Further Individual Product Development

I have now started to further develop the designs for the front and back of each product that I am re-branding for Wet n Wild. I have decided to re-brand 4 of their products that I felt needed re-designing due to the poor design of them: Foundation, Lipgloss, Highlighter Stick and Mascara. These products will also work well as a set which is what I am aiming to do, these are 4 of the main essential products that are used when doing any type of makeup look.

The designs for the re-branding of these products is consistent overall as this is what high-end makeup branding focuses on staying minimal and professional with higher focus on production methods and materials.

Additionally, the consistency of a brand aesthetic communicates a stronger message. However, each package does experiment a different with layout to an extent so that all of the designs don't look exactly the same- you can tell each product is different. The layout and design for each product is slightly different according to its individual dimensions (length and width).

Each product contains the key information that is needed on the design for the front and back. The front of each product contains the Wet n Wild logo, the name of the product and the range it is from, the shade and weight (ml/FLOZ). The back contains the shade with its colour swatch, shade number, ingredients and additional icons (recycling, cruelty free).

It is important that the re-brand contains all of the key information and not any extra unnecessary information as this makes the design over-crammed and less minimal- giving a less high end, professional aesthetic.
